Our Library
Nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains, the Wolcott Public Library offers a unique gathering place for our community. We boast a community garden and a small ice skating rink. We host special events throughout the year to keep our neighbors connected. Located in a restored Railroad Station and adjacent to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, the library exemplifies the simple Vermont lifestyle.

In Memoriam
Glee Merritt Kelley Community Library

The Wolcott Public Library was formerly named The Glee Merritt Kelley Library in honor of a remarkable woman who did so much for our small town. Curious by nature, Glee had an extraordinary memory for local information and was considered the unofficial town historian. She also raised lots of money for many local groups and often took local children to Montpelier to visit the legislature. In her latter years, her daily
itinerary took her around town taking various items to her 'shut-ins'.
We will always have a special place in our hearts for Glee.
